Serving at Church Form

Sign Up to Serve @ Ann Street

We're excited to gather as the Body of Christ at Ann St! Like a body, we are interdependent on one another for our shared growth, ministry and mission. By signing up to serve in one of the ways below, you'll be partnering in the ministry of God's Word to those who gather in the building as well as those who watch on from home.

Some of the roles listed below are new. Once you indicate your interest, we'll get back to you with more information and training opportunities.

"From him [Christ] the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." Eph 4:16

Different Ways to Serve @ Ann Street

There's plenty of ways you can serve here at Ann Street. Below are a list of volunteer roles. You can serve on Sundays or during the rest of the week, or both if you'd like! Please indicate as many roles as you're interested in even if you're not sure if you're the right fit, and our Serving Pastor Mark can chat with you further about the best fit.

Sunday Services

Sunday Service roles are the roles that help make Church at Ann Street happen. If there's a number of roles you're interested in feel free to tick them, and let us know in additional comments if there's any you'd prefer.

Tip: If you're interested in serving in Audio-Visual but feel like you don't have the skills, we will provide all training to get you up to speed.

Tip: If you are interested in serving as a barista we will provide training to get you up to speed.

Other Serving Roles

We have a number of ministries where you can serve outside of Sunday Services. These roles occur at different times throughout the year. Please tick any areas you may like to be involved, and if you have preferences about the frequency in which you serve, please let us know in the "serving preferences" below.

Tip: Fishers of Men is a ministry we partner with to provide food to homeless people in Brisbane. The serving team goes to give the food out, and the cooking team prepares the food beforehand. These jobs are once a month on a Sunday.

Tip: Event and Sunday Baristas are different options so you can indicate if you'd like to serve only on Sundays, only during events, or both.

Up-Front, Next Generation and Pastoral Care Ministries

Please Note: We typically require a commitment to church life for 6 months before stepping forward for upfront ministry on Sundays, leading in New City Kids and Youth, and ministry to seniors. It is important that we get to get to know and care for you as you grow in Christ, before we partner in these ministries together.

Please still let us know below if you would like to serve in these ways in the future.

More information

We'd love to learn a bit more about you! Please let us know how you've previously served at church, or if this is your first time serving, tell us about any skills you have that you may be able to use at church.
